Teenage Crime Plunges 15% screams the Daily Mail. Except it doesn’t does it? A fall from 121 to 106 (your figures, not mine) is a fall of fifteen - thats 12%. OH NO ROAD CLOSED FOR 12 HOURS! OMG! GLOBAL WARMING! KNIFE CRIME! STAY INDOORS! (Oh and I wonder how will a town with a 4 year old bypass cope when they close the bypass for 12 hours? Will the traffic temporarily revert back to 2004?)

If you’re really worried about a mobile phone mast 200m away, perhaps you should stop holding that mobile right next to your brain as you organise the protest against said mast?
