Christine Ohuruogu: Cheaty Git
It’s really not that difficult to tell someone where you are. I’ll be in here today at 10am. And then turn up. I do it every day, 5 days a week - I’ve got to be at work at 9am and I’m there at my desk, 9am everyday. So how come Christine couldn’t manage it?
Three times she managed to miss a drugs test two years ago. Its all come back now she’s a bit narked that people keep talking about the fact that she’s a bit of a lemon.
If i really wanted to do something I’d not let anything get in the way. Every athelet at the Olympics has stated about how it was their dream to compete and the meaning to their life - Christine I’m sure is no different…. so when she missed two drugs tests and they sat her down and told her not to miss anymore because she’d get a ban, you’d think she’d back up and learn to use a phone.
Apparently not.
So, is it because she thought she was above the rules, because she had something to hide, or because she’s an idiot? One thing’s for sure, she didn’t do what she was supposed to do. Her job, besides training, is to turn up to drugs tests. If she didn’t like it she should try turning up to the Post Office for her daily grind shift.
If i read one more celebratory article about how great it was Ohuruogu won a gold I think I might explode in a fountain of angry words. She shouldn’t have been running because she broke the rules, deliberately or not.
Double standards always amaze me, poor Dwain Chambers hung out to dry.
