Whats On The Menu Today?
Nope, I’m not talking food, I’m talking image based frontend website menus. See, most people don’t need to read this stuff in the blog. Some people don’t want to see photos. Google my name and you might be looking for some kind of interaction that say, only facebook could provide. Well, i finally had the time to sit down and develop my idea of an attractive menu for the front end. I know that splash screens are frowned upon, but to me this is like a five junction roundabout (6 if you include the turning you arrive on) with each turn off scrawled with my graffiti.
See, hover over the options and they expand to fill more of the fixed width menu. If you move the mouse quickly enough, they slide in and out all quickly like. Its like a pointless visit to the pointless eye candy factory. But its sooo sweet.

Anyway, made with the always excellent moo.fx this has a few coding examples borrowed and cobbled together from their forums, and it only took me like two lots of 60 minutes. Have a play!
