Another New Start - Bye Bye Darken
Ever since I signed up for hosting with DarkenHosting i got the horrendous feeling I’d made a massive mistake.Turns out you get what you pay for - slightly less than fuck all in Darkens case. Tech support consists of one person who never answers emails, the server was down nearly a quarter of the time and my email played up no end.
I’ve moved to Dreamhost now though, so hopefully things will be better going forward. I’ve even got a new domain - kierandelaney.net
The main spur for me moving was the darkenhosting server disappearing - one month later i managed to get a reply out of the shady cocks, the server has been confiscated by the police. Brilliant. They obviously didn’t bother letting any of their customers know, because that would be efficient and sensible. And then what happened? It took another month to wrestle back my domain. Avoid at all costs.
